RHS Chelsea Flower Show Floral Design Highlights
By Alex N •
This year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show included some incredible and unusual floral designs.
It was also the first year of RHS Chelsea when floral foam was banned, which meant many florists experimented with new ways to design their floral arrangements. Shane Connolly's Environmental Floristry course teaches how to create more sustainable floral designs.
This year's themes were British Flowers, Preservation, Pollination and the Beauty of Nature.
Here's just a few of our floral design and flower highlights from this year:
Aristaeus' Apiary - Flowers of Elegance
Inspired by beekeeping around the world.
Tracy Rowbottom Designs: On Reflection
An incredible tiered living wall inspired by Asian rice terraces.
And a few more of our floral favourites:
Charlotte Smithson: The Beauty of Nature
Sidmouth in Bloom
One of our favourite displays, this was Sidmouth in Bloom's 50th RHS Chelsea Flower Show entry.
Gladioli and Dahlias
Shane Connolly's Learning with Experts course on Environmental Floristry teaches you how to take your floral designs to the next level, and how to create sustainable flower arrangements.
